Introduction

“iMeGoo” is an application provided by Shenzhen Mijiao Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “iMeGoo”) that offers you exercise guidance and health services. iMeGoo attaches great importance to your personal information and privacy protection. We will provide corresponding security measures for your personal information in accordance with legal requirements and industry-standard security practices. In order to provide better exercise and health services, it is necessary to collect your: network information (carrier information), location information (precise location, exercise routes, etc.), Bluetooth information (turning Bluetooth on or off, connecting to nearby devices), body movement information, as well as data you actively upload. This information helps to more accurately calculate exercise data, and exercise health information is used to store and display information for users.

Even after you exit the "iMeGoo" app, it will still access your phone's sensors to obtain step data and connect to the network to complete data synchronization, message reception, device software updates, and log upload services.

To manage iMeGoo data, we provide account registration and login based on account services. Before using an account, please make sure you have read and agreed to comply with the corresponding account privacy statement to understand and consent to the collection, use, and sharing of personal information associated with the account. After logging in, we need to use your account information (nickname and avatar) and basic personal information (gender and date of birth). The nickname and avatar are used for display within the app, while gender and date of birth are used to provide you with better exercise recommendations.

1. How we collect and use your personal information

1.1 iMeGoo Device Management

In order to manage your iMeGoo devices (including smart wearable devices, ecosystem devices, and third-party devices provided with services by iMeGoo), we need to collect your device identifiers (MAC address, IMEI), hardware information, device usage information, basic system information, and network information. The purpose of collecting this information is to establish Bluetooth connections, manage device configurations, complete software upgrades, display data sources, and track device activation. This data will also be used to enhance the user experience.

In order to support the interaction between smart wearable devices and mobile phone information, it is necessary to read the phone's calendar schedule and basic system information to the wearable device. We connect to the iMeGoo device via Bluetooth to obtain the device's exercise and health data, log information, location information, and device information. You can stop collecting this data by disconnecting or unbinding the device.

After connecting some iMeGoo devices, to provide more accurate data monitoring, the nickname, gender, birthday, height, and weight you enter in 'iMeGoo' app under 'Me' > 'Personal Information' will be synced to the device (for example: headphones).

Some devices that support calling functions need to display phone contact information and call history to facilitate answering and making calls on the wearable device.

When connecting an iMeGoo device, 'iMeGoo' only provides the method for device upgrades. The device firmware version is provided by the device manufacturer, and the manufacturer is responsible for the quality of the version and the results of the upgrade. Your device name, device identifier, and device usage information will also be uploaded to the iMeGoo server to complete activation statistics and device issue analysis. For more detailed information, please refer to the 'Statement on User Agreement and Privacy'.

Third-party applications that interact with paired smart devices through "iMeGoo" can access your device's random identifier (which can be reset upon pairing and is unique to each app), device name, hardware information and status (charging or in use), among other data. These third-party applications can also send messages or notifications to your paired devices. With your explicit authorization, these third-party applications can access sensor data, sleep status, activity type (walking, running), wearing status, log information, location information, and device information.

If your device supports the weather forecast feature, we will send your location information to the weather service provider to obtain weather information for your area and display it on your wearable device. You can disable the weather forecast feature at any time in the device management section of this app to stop this function.

If you use the location feature, the location SDK we use requires you to enable device location permissions and collect the device's location information (latitude and longitude, precise location, approximate location) [obtained through IP address, GNSS information, Wi-Fi status, Wi-Fi parameters, Wi-Fi list, SSID, BSSID, base station information, signal strength information, Bluetooth information, sensor information (vector, acceleration, pressure, orientation, geomagnetic), device signal strength information, external storage directories], device identification information (IMEI, IDFA, IDFV, Android ID, MEID, MAC address, OAID, IMSI, ICCID, hardware serial number), current application information (app name, app version), and device parameters and system information (system properties, device model, operating system, carrier information).

When you use our services, we may automatically collect detailed information about your usage of our services, such as network log retention. For example: your telecom operator, network environment, language used, access date and time, duration of visit, and refresh records.

1.2 iMeGoo Data Management

1.2.1 Personal Information Management

In order to manage your personal information and improve the accuracy of your workout data, we need to collect your personal information, including gender, date of birth, height, weight, and workout settings. You can fill in or modify this information by going to 'Me' > 'Personal Information'. If you do not provide this information, it may affect the accuracy of the workout data calculations, but it will not affect your ability to use the personal information management features locally.

1.2.2 Sports Data Management

To record, back up, and manage your exercise data, we need to collect your location information, exercise routes, exercise types, exercise duration, step count, distance, calories, elevation, speed, and other exercise data. Exercise types include walking, running, hiking, and so on. The purpose of collecting this information is to record and analyze your daily exercise data and routes, and to provide you with comprehensive exercise services.

The providers of the outdoor single-session exercise tracking feature in this service are: iMeGoo developers and Google Inc. Using this service requires the collection and provision of your location information to the map service providers. Some maps may also require you to provide your device identifiers and network information. The collection and processing of specific data are governed by third-party privacy policies, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective map service provider.

If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to save your exercise data in the cloud. As a result, your exercise data may be lost when you uninstall the app or switch devices, but this will not affect your ability to use the local exercise data recording feature.

1.2.3 Health Data Management

To manage your health data and display your related information, we need to collect your steps, sleep, heart rate, and other data. Health data is personal sensitive information, and the purpose of collecting such information is to measure, record, display, and analyze health-related data, providing you with comprehensive health services.

If you do not provide this type of information, we will not be able to store your health data on the cloud. When you uninstall or switch devices, this may result in the loss of health data. However, this will not affect your ability to manage health data locally using 'iMeGoo'.

1.3 User Feedback

Users can submit any issues they encounter while using the app through the 'Feedback' feature in the app. We need to obtain the ANDROID_ID to identify the user and provide a response.

1.4 User Experience Improvement Services

If you encounter issues while using the application, you can provide feedback to us through the 'Feedback and Suggestions' interface. You will need to enter a description of the issue and your contact information. To help us resolve the problem as quickly as possible, we also need to collect system usage information, device hardware information, device identifiers, basic system information, information on currently running application processes, as well as uploaded logs. The contact information is used only for communication and troubleshooting purposes, and all data will be automatically deleted after the storage period expires. If you do not provide this information, it may prevent the developers from resolving the issues you encounter, but it will not affect your use of other features of this service.

2. Device permission invocation

Auto-start Permission: This application has an auto-start feature. To ensure that the app can properly receive motion data from Bluetooth devices while it is closed or running in the background, it may periodically be woken up by system broadcasts. This is necessary to implement its functions and services. The app requires auto-start capability to ensure the stability of Bluetooth device data transmission and to respond promptly on Android devices. When the system sends a broadcast, it will trigger the app's auto-start behavior. This behavior is necessary to implement Bluetooth functions and services.

Storage: When you use features such as sharing, the pedometer, or account login, you can choose to enable this permission to read or write app usage information, photos, videos, and intermediate step data. If you do not need these services, you can disable this permission at any time, and it will not affect the use of other services.

Camera: When you connect a device or take photos remotely by scanning a QR code, we need to request and obtain this permission from you in order to complete the photo capture. If you do not need this service, you can disable this permission at any time, and it will not affect the use of other services.

Location: When you use connected devices or sync the weather, you can choose to enable this permission to search for nearby Bluetooth devices. If you don’t need this service, you can disable the permission at any time, but you will not be able to connect to Bluetooth devices properly.

Bluetooth: Bluetooth permissions are used to connect Bluetooth devices, access watch battery level, manage device functions, and sync the weather.

Network: Network permissions are used for watch face installation, account login and registration, accessing audio content, app issue feedback, application error log collection, app version update checks, and authorization activation.

Access device information status: It is actually for verifying user device information.

Contacts: When you use the feature to sync contacts to your device, you can make calls through the device. If you do not need this service, you can turn off this permission at any time, which will not affect the use of other services.

Microphone: When you use translation, AI, or meeting features, you need to enable this permission for them to work properly. They will not function correctly if it is turned off.

3. Protection of minors

If you are a minor, you need the consent of your guardian to use this application and agree to the relevant terms of service. Parents and guardians should also take appropriate precautions to protect minors, including supervising their use of this application.

4. Manage your data

To make it more convenient for you to access, correct, and delete your personal information while using the “iMeGoo” app, and to ensure your right to withdraw consent for the use of your personal information, we have provided corresponding settings in the product design. You can refer to the following guide for instructions.

4.1 Access personal information

After installing and logging into 'iMeGoo', your personal information saved in the cloud will automatically download and sync to your phone. In the 'iMeGoo' app, you can access your exercise and health data through data cards, including step cards, heart rate cards, exercise cards, and device pages. You can view your profile picture, personal information (nickname, gender, date of birth, height, weight), and exercise settings on the 'My' page.

4.2 Update Personal Information

You can update your profile picture and personal information (nickname, gender, date of birth, height, weight) on the 'My' page. Data automatically obtained from smart devices cannot be edited or updated.

5. Data storage location and duration

The above information will be transmitted to and stored on servers in Hong Kong, People's Republic of China.

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this statement, and your personal information will be deleted or anonymized after the retention period below, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

For your data security, your data will be bound to the smart wearable device, and your iMeGoo data will be transmitted in encrypted form and stored on the "iMeGoo" cloud server.

Questionnaire information obtained in the survey business and device information obtained in the service upgrade business will be retained for six (6) months from the date of collection, or your data will be securely deleted when you delete your account.

Personal information obtained for statistical analysis and product improvement in the user experience improvement service will be retained for six (6) months from the date of collection.

Log information obtained for analysis and troubleshooting in the issues and suggestions business: logs are stored on the server (file log server) for seven (7) days, and the retention period for data other than logs is two (2) years.
